With the aim to sharpen my visual design skills and design a fun product, I joined Valitee as the second product designer on the team. The mission of Valitee is to create a less toxic online environment for friends to socialize while maintain the intimacy of face to face interaction.

We have launched several fun games including “Blood on the Clocktower”, , Murder Mystery Game, with “Mahjong” under development. We will continue to launch new features and bring more joy to our users in the near future.

The Problem

With the ongoing global pandemic, work and life has been transitioned to remote settings while many people found it hard to maintain connections across long distances and different time zones.

Our Solution

Create an engaging and immersive online virtual community for friends to strengthen connections through interactive games and activities.

Outcome

We are beta testing!

We are currently under the process of beta testing our newest feautre and games. We hosted a League of Legend competition on our platform and invited over 30 users for testing. 100% recommendation rate and many useful feedback have been received so far. We will continue to use the feedback to drive our product and design development.

I first started with mid fidelity prototyping to map out the relatie placement of avatars and each individual Mahjong in the 3D space. I then collaborated with 3D artist to create the 3D model and determined interactions patterns in 3D.
